Moscow Today
Huge giants from grey stone in the middle of the central square of Novosibirsk, named after Lenin, leader of Russian Communists of the 20s.
Skeletons of unfinished buildings everywhere, cranes of different sizes all around, broken fences around neglected construction sites.
The celebration of the 115th anniversary of the city of Novosibirsk was accompanied by the brides’ parade, an event, which attracted more than 100 couples who decided to yoke in marriage on this very day, right in the city center, to ovations of thousands of spectators.
It was very long trip… 25 km way took 2 hours and 20 mins.
To get some fun I’ve made pictures on my way.
It’s very easy to understand when the first snow is here in Moscow. Just have a look into local traffic jam web service. Red lines are dead traffic jams, yellow – extremely slow moving. To reach Moscow Ring Road from the downtime you need at least 3 hours.
If you know russian tale “Kolobok” and other folktales, you should understand this :)
“I’m Rabbit”
“It’s not Kolobok, it’s a geek!!!”
Decision to break away from Moscow has come right on the spur of the moment. It came in the evening – it was realized in the morning. Why I went to this particular place?
